Director of Vehicle Management

Job DescriptionLead the end-to-end vehicle management strategy, covering vehicle procurement, receiving, storage, registration, deployment, maintenance, utilization, and retrieval.Develop and implement vehicle management policies, SOPs, and operational standards to ensure fleet efficiency, safety, and reliability.Oversee vehicle maintenance, servicing, inspections, and overall vehicle condition to ensure fleet readiness.Manage vehicle insurance, claims, documentation, and coordination with insurance providers.Oversee vehicle management across warehouses, stockyards, depots, and operational locations.Ensure smooth and timely vehicle registration, documentation, and deployment processes.Monitor fleet performance, utilization, availability, and operational costs, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.Lead and develop the Vehicle Management team while working closely with Operations, Maintenance, Procurement, Finance, Legal, and other stakeholders.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Automotive, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field.Minimum 12 years of experience in vehicle/fleet management, automotive, logistics, mobility, or related industries, with proven experience in a leadership role.Strong experience in fleet operations, vehicle maintenance, registration, insurance, and asset management.Proven track record in leading teams and managing large-scale fleet operations.Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.Strong understanding of operational controls, cost management, safety, and regulatory requirements.Willing to travel and support operations across different locations
