Director Perioperative Services

Community hospital part of a system looking to bring on Director Perioperative Services! Sign On Bonus and Relocation! Provides multidisciplinary leadership and administrative authority for perioperative patient care units and departments. Assumes service line accountability for the management, development, and performance of perioperative programs, including operating room services and related departments. Responsible for clinical quality, operational outcomes, and alignment with organizational priorities. In the absence of the Chief Nursing Officer, the Director may assume authority for directing nursing department activities. Provides leadership within the professional practice environment and across perioperative services, advocating for patient safety, quality outcomes, and adherence to the ANA Nursing Administration Scope and Standards of Practice.Report directly to the CNO, with oversight of OR, Same Day Surgery, PACU, SPD, GI, and perioperative operations.

Qualifications

Master’s Degree in Nursing, or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and Master’s Degree in relevant field of management, policy, or administrationRequired upon hire: California Registered Nurse License10 or more years of nursing experience, with 3 years in nursing administration
