As Director - Planning (MAS365), you will contribute to the planning framework, permitting approach, and regulatory ecosystem that underpin city-wide implementation, while working across internal teams and external stakeholders to support effective, future-ready planning operations.ResponsibilitiesSupport the development and implementation of the statutory planning control framework for Qiddiya CityManage the translation and integration of City Framework Plan masterplans into a coordinated city-wide planning systemContribute to the expansion of permitting activities to support the QIC Group, including operational permits and licensesSupport engagement with government stakeholders to facilitate permitting processes, including coordination of MOUs, SLAs, and other agreementsManage and define future permitting and licensing responsibilities for Qiddiya CityContribute to the design and improvement of systems and processes for future permitting responsibilitiesSupport the development of the technology roadmap for managing Qiddiya City's regulatory ecosystemManage the implementation of technology solutions and digital systems to support critical regulatory and permitting servicesRequirementsBachelor's degree in Urban Planning, City Planning, Architecture, Engineering, Public Policy, Real Estate Development, or a related field; a master's degree is preferredProven experience in statutory planning, urban development frameworks, master planning, or regulatory planning within large-scale city development projectsProven experience designing and implementing governance structures, service models, MOUs, SLAs, and stakeholder agreements13+ years of relevant experience in urban planning, regulatory frameworks, permitting, city management, or related fieldsHands-on experience with planning systems, permitting systems, GIS, and workflow systemsExperience working directly with government authorities and external stakeholdersEligible to work in Saudi Arabia
