Director - Procurement & Contracts Real Estate Developer, Riyadh KSAWe are partnering with a leading real estate developer in Riyadh to appoint a Procurement & Contracts Director to lead and oversee the entire Procurement & Contracts Division across a portfolio of large-scale developments, including high-rise residential towers, hospitality assets, mixed-use destinations, luxury communities, and master-planned developments.This is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving procurement strategy, contract governance, commercial risk management, supplier performance, and cost optimization while ensuring successful project delivery across multiple developments.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the Procurement & Contracts Division, including procurement, tendering, contract administration, and commercial governance.Develop and implement procurement and contracting strategies aligned with business objectives and project delivery requirements.Oversee the full procurement lifecycle, including vendor prequalification, RFPs, tender evaluations, negotiations, and contract awards.Lead commercial negotiations for major construction, consultancy, hospitality, and infrastructure contracts.Manage all contract administration activities, ensuring compliance, risk mitigation, and effective change management.Establish procurement policies, procedures, and governance frameworks in line with international best practices.Drive value engineering, cost efficiency, and procurement optimization initiatives across projects.Build and maintain strategic relationships with contractors, consultants, suppliers, and key stakeholders.Collaborate closely with Development, Design, Projects, Finance, Legal, and Executive Management teams.Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing procurement and contracts team.RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Engineering, Construction Management, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.Master's Degree or professional certifications such as MRICS, MCIPS, PMP, or equivalent are highly preferred.15+ years of experience in Procurement, Contracts, Commercial Management, or Quantity Surveying.Proven experience leading both Procurement and Contracts functions within a major Real Estate Developer, Master Developer, or Development Authority.Strong experience delivering high-rise residential towers, luxury hospitality developments, mixed-use projects, and large-scale master-planned communities.Extensive knowledge of construction procurement, contract administration, and commercial management.Strong understanding of FIDIC contracts, procurement best practices, and contract governance.Demonstrated success managing large procurement budgets and complex commercial negotiations.Exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, and team development capabilities.
