Director, Project Finance Origination — Energy Infrastructure

We are seeking a senior project finance professional to lead deal origination across the energy infrastructure sector. This is a pure origination mandate: sourcing financing opportunities and bringing qualified transactions to the platform.Sector CoverageOil and gas production and midstream assetsPipelines and gas-processing facilitiesLNG infrastructureStorage terminalsPetroleum-product distribution systemsPower generation (thermal and renewable)Electrical transmission lines and grid infrastructureResponsibilitiesOriginate project finance opportunities with sponsors, developers, and asset owners across the covered sectors, in the US and internationallyIdentify projects requiring senior debt, mezzanine, or hybrid financing solutions, greenfield and brownfieldQualify opportunities: sponsor credibility, project fundamentals, financeability, and stage of developmentDevelop and maintain a pipeline of financing mandates for the platformLeverage and expand relationships with project sponsors, developers, EPC contractors, and asset owners actively seeking capitalQualificationsMinimum ten (10) years of project finance experience at a bank, fund, advisory firm, or developerDemonstrated record of originating completed project financings in energy infrastructure; candidates will be asked to provide a transaction list (deal, role, approximate size, close date), and completed transactions will be verifiedEstablished network of sponsors and developers with active capital needs in the energy and power sectorsStrong ability to assess project financeability and screen opportunities at the origination stageSelf-directed; able to generate deal flow independentlyCompensationCompensation is performance-based and directly tied to originated transactions that reach financial close. This structure is designed for senior professionals with established origination networks seeking uncapped economics rather than fixed salary.We maintain a written FCPA-consistent anti-corruption and AML policy.
