The role will have broad visibility across the technology portfolio and will partner closely with senior leadership on portfolio strategy, prioritization, governance, financial management, and executive reporting.

Location: RemoteJob SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Portfolio & PMO Director to lead and strengthen the technology portfolio and PMO function.

This individual will be responsible for establishing effective portfolio governance, overseeing project intake and prioritization, providing executive-level visibility, and ensuring technology initiatives remain aligned with overall business objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and oversee the IT portfolio and PMO function.Establish and manage project intake, prioritization, governance, and reporting processes.Maintain comprehensive visibility into project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, dependencies, and overall performance.Establish PMO standards, methodologies, templates, tools, and operating processes.Develop executive dashboards, portfolio reports, and presentations for senior leadership.Partner with Finance on project budgets, forecasts, financial tracking, and portfolio-level financial reporting.Collaborate closely with project and program managers, business leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders.Monitor project performance, risks, dependencies, benefits realization, and business outcomes.Support audit, compliance, risk management, and technology governance requirements.Build, develop, and mature the PMO team, structure, and operating model.Identify and drive continuous improvements across project, program, and portfolio management practices.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Management, or a related field.8+ years of experience in PMO, program management, portfolio management, or a related discipline.Demonstrated experience leading, building, or establishing a PMO or portfolio management function.Strong background in portfolio governance, project prioritization, and executive-level reporting.Experience managing technology project budgets, forecasts, and financial performance.Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.Ability to effectively collaborate with senior executives and cross-functional teams.Preferred QualificationsPMP, PgMP, PfMP, or similar professional certification.Experience with IT portfolio management or technology financial management frameworks.Experience managing large-scale technology transformation initiatives.Experience with ERP, cloud, infrastructure, enterprise applications, or other large technology environments.Experience with Power BI or other business intelligence and reporting platforms.MBA or other advanced degree.Key SkillsPortfolio Management | PMO Leadership | Program Management | IT Governance | Project Financial Management | Executive Reporting | Risk Management | Stakeholder Management | Power BI | Technology Transformation
