Director, R&D Site Lead

Key ResponsibilitiesLead the strategy, execution and growth of KSA R&D site, aligned with global CTO technology priorities.Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance on advanced technologies including AI/ML applications, autonomous robotics, intelligent manufacturing and Industry 4.0 solutions.Translate emerging technologies and research outcomes into scalable, measurable business-oriented R&D initiatives.Build, lead and cultivate a high-performance local R&D team, fostering an innovative, rigorous and accountable team culture.Operate independently with strong judgment to make strategic decisions under complex and ambiguous business scenarios.Act as a senior technical representative to engage with government institutions, universities, research institutes and industrial partners within the Saudi innovation ecosystem.Develop strategic partnerships aligned with technology innovation and digital transformation priorities.Serve as the company’s key advocate for AI technology application and industrial promotion in the Middle East market.Qualifications：12+ years of progressive experience in R&D management, senior engineering or technical leadership roles at director level or above.Comprehensive technical vision in AI, robotics, intelligent manufacturing and other deep-tech fields.Proven ability to lead complex interdisciplinary R&D projects covering software, hardware and data systems.Strong independent working ability and sound judgment to deliver results with minimal supervision.In-depth understanding of Saudi Arabia’s technology innovation ecosystem, tech strategies and key industrial stakeholders.
