Disaster Recovery Expert

We are seeking a Disaster Recovery Expert - Supervisor/Lead with 5+ years of experience, including mandatory banking or financial services experience. The role will lead and oversee Disaster Recovery, IT Resilience, and Business Continuity activities for critical banking systems and technology services.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain DR strategies, plans, procedures, and recovery runbooksDefine and maintain RTO/RPO for critical systemsLead DR drills, simulations, failover/failback, and recovery testingCoordinate with infrastructure, network, cybersecurity, application, database, cloud, and business teamsEnsure DR environments, backup, replication, HA, and recovery capabilities are operational and compliantConduct risk assessments, BIA, and root-cause analysis for DR issuesEnsure alignment with banking regulations, audit requirements, and IT governanceManage DR vendors and provide regular readiness and risk reports to managementLead and mentor DR/technical teamsRequirements5+ years in Disaster Recovery, IT Resilience, Infrastructure, or Business ContinuityMandatory banking experiencePrevious Lead/Supervisor experience preferredStrong knowledge of DR architecture, data centers, cloud, virtualization, backup, replication, and high availabilityBachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
