Team members work in a fast-paced, intellectually demanding environment with opportunities to develop advanced advocacy skills and work on significant, precedent-setting cases.Role Description Dispute Resolution Associates and Senior Associates at Quinn Emanuel in Sydney, NSW work on complex commercial litigation and arbitration matters in a full-time, on-site capacity. Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting pleadings, submissions, and correspondence; analyzing evidence and legal issues; and conducting detailed legal and factual research. Associates collaborate closely with partners and colleagues to develop case strategies, prepare for hearings and trials, and manage claims resolution processes. The role also involves client communication, attending court or arbitral hearings, coordinating with experts and other stakeholders, and contributing to matter management and documentation to support efficient, high-quality dispute resolution.Qualifications Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities to assess complex disputes and evidence.Experience or demonstrated capability in claims resolution, including managing dispute lifecycles and settlement processes.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for drafting clear legal documents and engaging with clients and stakeholders.Customer service orientation and professionalism in handling client relationships and expectations.Understanding of finance and commercial principles relevant to business litigation and arbitration.Law degree and admission (or eligibility for admission) to practice in Australia.Prior experience in litigation, arbitration, or commercial disputes; experience at a top-tier or specialist litigation firm is advantageous.Ability to work collaboratively in a team, manage deadlines, and handle multiple matters in a high-pressure environment.High attention to detail, sound judgment, and commitment to ethical, inclusive, and non-discriminatory practices.
