Role DescriptionWe are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Distribution Assistant to support daily distribution activities and ensure products are moved, processed, and delivered accurately and efficiently. The role assists with shipment coordination, inventory movement, distribution documentation, and communication with internal teams and logistics partners.Key responsibilities include preparing and processing shipping documents, delivery schedules, packing lists, labels, and other distribution-related records. The Distribution Assistant will coordinate with warehouse, logistics, inventory, purchasing, sales, customer service, and external delivery partners to ensure shipments are prepared and dispatched according to operational requirements.The role will monitor shipment and delivery status, follow up on delayed or incomplete deliveries, and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders. Responsibilities may include assisting with receiving and dispatch activities, checking shipment quantities and product details, tracking stock movements, updating distribution systems, and supporting the investigation of delivery or inventory discrepancies.The Distribution Assistant will also support inventory and distribution reporting by maintaining accurate records and preparing regular operational updates. The role may assist with returns, damaged goods, delivery issues, and other distribution-related requests while ensuring relevant information is properly documented and followed up.Strong organizational, coordination, communication, and attention-to-detail skills are essential. The ideal candidate should be proactive, reliable, customer-focused, and able to manage multiple shipments and operational priorities while maintaining accuracy and timely execution.QualificationsBachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Distribution, Operations, Business Administration, or a related discipline.Basic understanding of distribution, warehousing, inventory control, shipment processing, and logistics operations.Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to coordinate multiple shipments, delivery schedules, requests, and operational tasks.Good written and verbal communication skills for working with internal teams and external logistics partners.Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace, particularly Excel or spreadsheet applications.Familiarity with ERP, WMS, inventory management, transportation, or logistics systems is an advantage.Ability to prepare and maintain accurate shipping documents, distribution records, reports, and system updates.Good analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify shipment and inventory discrepancies.Strong follow-up skills and ability to monitor delivery status and outstanding actions.Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to accurate, timely, and reliable distribution.Proactive, responsible, adaptable, detail-oriented, and willing to learn new logistics systems and operational processes.
