ESSENTIAL DUTIESOversees procurement process, including securing sales forecast for instrument and reagents, and future “Go-Lives” for inventory planning purposes.Manages relationships and negotiates with suppliers, vendors, and transport service providers.Collaborates with the Director of Technical and Regulatory Affairs to minimize delays caused by international laws, US Customs, and the FDA.Identifies and introduces best practices for supply chain and logistics management within the organizationSources and negotiates pricing for products necessary to sell our product.Collaborates with Sales and Service to define and manage processes for the deployment and delivery of instruments and products to field teams and customer, and the dispensation of returned inventory.Manages and reviews inventory counts and optimizes procedures and resources to improve count accuracy.Builds and maintains a relationship with suppliers and Sebia France Coordinate with HQ for any issues on received shipments.Ensures the safe and efficient storage and distribution of goods to preserve the value and quality of products.Manages and optimizes warehouse design and processes to support current and future business needs. Evaluates, purchases, and maintains appropriate equipment.Maintains safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures and complying with legal regulationsIdentifies and reports critical KPIs to measure success and identify areas of improvement, and effectively manages process improvement based on measurable outcomes.Develops and manages budget for in-bound freight and operating expenses for the Fulfillment team, approves purchase orders, supplier and freight invoices, etc.Develops people resources by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring, appraisingKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIESBachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Finance from a four-year college/university or equivalent.Experience with inventory management software (e.g. ERP), Sage X3 preferred.Excellent communication skills are required, including both verbal and written presentational skills as well as good leadership qualities.Experience managing people, including the ability to carry out personnel evaluations, set performance targets, engage new employees and identify and possibly deliver training.Hands-on, "get things done" mentality.Strategic, business acumenResourceful.
