Position: Division Business Development ManagerReports To: Division Business Development DirectorFunctional Scope:Position Summary: The Division Business Development Manager is responsible for supporting the organic and inorganic growth strategy of the Amphenol Interconnect and Sensor Systems Division. This involves supporting the acquisition process from identification of new targets through successful post-acquisition on-boarding; developing Amphenol-wide networks and using those connections to identify and support successful collaboration opportunities; developing a deep understanding of markets served and growth applications and supporting the business unit’s growth in these applications; supporting Division operations and strategy; identifying new growth opportunities and engaging the appropriate parties, including technology partnerships and university lab engagement; supporting business unit strategy development and execution.Position Specifications:MBA or equivalent advanced degree. 5+ years of business experience with demonstrated success in business development, business opportunity pipeline growth, and supporting profitable revenue growth. Strong technical background with a B.S. in Engineering preferred but not required. Analytical skills and ability to prepare business growth strategies and execution plans. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate broadly and work in a global environment and provide lateral leadership across the division. Goal oriented, focused on making a significant impact in a high growth environment. Excellent oral and written communication - fluent in English (other foreign languages a plus). Energetic, collaborative and autonomous.Essential Functions:Markets and applications: Deep dive on growth applications (e.g., AI infrastructure, EV & HEV’s, robotics & automation, etc.); Understand and track trends, regulations, global growth drivers, and market potential; Identify business opportunities, engage business units and support; Prepare for and support trade shows and other research as needed; Strategic initiative support as assigned.Acquisitions: Support the M&A process. Engage targets in collaboration with Groups & HQ M&A team, analyze and determine fit with support of broader team; Engage with and support HQ M&A team, regular communication rhythm; Support on-boarding, collaboration, and their success in Amphenol.Collaboration: Build networks across the Division and Amphenol; Identify collaboration opportunities, make and build strong connections; Support business teams as needed for success; Track progress and provide updates as needed.Operation support: Support Operation reviews, strategy development and preparation; Support business units as needed; Other activities as assigned; Regular local and global travel
