Apply & track with Apply EdgeAbout the RoleThe Division Manager will plan and oversee the daily operations of the organization to ensure goals and objectives are achieved. This individual will help grow not only the construction organization but also the people and processes.ResponsibilitiesOverseeing the day-to-day operations of the department to ensure smooth operation.Reviewing reports from managers and team members to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.Establishing communication with managers in other departments to coordinate efforts and solve problems as needed.Providing support to employees in the form of coaching, counseling, or other methods of employee development.Working with Human Resources to manage staffing needs, including hiring, terminations, and the training of new employees.Conducting performance evaluations to assess employee performance.Developing and implementing departmental policies and procedures to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.Monitoring financial performance to ensure goals are being met.Establishing and enforcing organizational policies regarding employee conduct and ethics to promote a productive workplace environment.Additional duties as assigned.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesEnsure supervisors manage their departments efficiently and in accordance with department goals.Provides fair, constructive, and timely feedback towards performance evaluations and goals for managers.Align individual performance expectations with organizational goals.Provide assistance, guidance, and coaching support as needed.Some travel is required based on business need.QualificationsRequired: Bachelor's degree in business management, Business Administration, or related field.10+ progressive years in Construction or like-type business preferred but not requiredCertification through the Institute of Certified Professional Managers (ICPM).Superior managerial and diplomacy skills.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
