Divisional Operations Manager- Road Transport

📢📢📢 We are looking for a Divisional Operations Manager- Road Transport (RT) Operations, based in Riyadh.JOB PURPOSE: To lead and oversee the overall RT operations across assigned locations, ensuring safe, efficient, reliable, and cost-effective operations through optimum fleet and manpower utilization, effective fleet availability and maintenance coordination, fuel and tyre cost control, strong safety culture, customer satisfaction, operational visibility, and continuous improvement, while achieving business objectives and agreed KPIs. To ensure that safety and environmental aspects of Sustainability are embedded into the business strategy and daily operations.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Fleet Utilization & AvailabilityMonitor fleet utilization on a daily basis and identify opportunities for improvement.Conduct daily fleet availability checks and coordinate with Maintenance to minimize vehicle downtime.Monitor fleet running kilometres on daily basis and control unnecessary or excess running.2. Driver Management & UtilizationMonitor driver availability and utilization on a daily basis.Plan and manage driver scheduling to ensure optimum utilization and minimize idle time.Ensure adequate driver availability to meet daily customer requirements.3. Fuel Management & Cost ReductionMonitor fuel mileage/consumption and implement actions to improve mileage.Investigate abnormal fuel consumption and take corrective action.Control unnecessary vehicle running and identify opportunities for fuel cost reduction.4. Tyre ManagementMonitor tyre utilization, replacement and performance.Implement effective controls to maximize tyre life and reduce tyre-related costs.Coordinate with Maintenance for timely inspection and corrective action.5. Safety & ComplianceDrive a strong safety culture across the driver and RT Operations teams with hearts and minds approach.Monitor driver safety performance and ensure compliance with company safety standards.Take proactive action to address unsafe practices and recurring safety concerns.Conduct enroute spot checks and reporting.Conduct pre-loading and vehicle & integrity checks.Incident reporting and participation in Incident investigation.6. Customer ManagementMaintain close coordination with customers regarding daily orders and operational requirements.Ensure timely follow-up and resolution of customer requirements and operational issues.Maintain strong customer relationships and improve service satisfaction.Increase the revenues by increased truck utilization.7. Maintenance CoordinationWork closely with the Maintenance team to improve fleet availability and reliability.Support initiatives to reduce maintenance costs and improve preventive maintenance practices.Monitor recurring vehicle issues and ensure appropriate corrective actions are implemented.8. Continuous ImprovementIdentify and implement new initiatives to improve operational efficiency, productivity and cost effectiveness.Establish appropriate KPIs and provide management with clear visibility of operational performance.Continuously review processes and identify opportunities for improvement.9. Overall RT Operations ManagementTake overall responsibility for RT Operations at the assigned location.Preparation of daily, weekly and monthly reports and sharing with the stakeholdersParticipation in customer engagements and BPREnsure daily operations are properly planned, controlled and executed.Monitor operational performance and take timely corrective action where required.Ensure alignment between Operations, Drivers, Maintenance, Customers and Management.Follow-up for Customer payments
