Position: DM Gastroenterologist / Gastroenterology SpecialistJob SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate DM Gastroenterologist to provide comprehensive diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive care for patients with gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary disorders. The successful candidate will be responsible for patient evaluation, endoscopic procedures, treatment planning, and coordination of multidisciplinary care.Key ResponsibilitiesEvaluate and manage patients with gastrointestinal, liver, pancreatic, and biliary disorders.Perform and interpret diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, including upper GI endoscopy and colonoscopy.Diagnose and manage conditions such as GERD, peptic ulcer disease, inflammatory bowel disease, GI bleeding, hepatitis, cirrhosis, and gastrointestinal malignancies.Provide appropriate medical and procedural treatment based on current clinical guidelines.Manage emergency gastroenterology cases, including acute GI bleeding and liver-related complications.Maintain accurate and timely patient records and clinical documentation.Collaborate with surgeons, oncologists, radiologists, pathologists, and other specialists when required.Counsel patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, procedures, and preventive care.Participate in hospital rounds, clinical meetings, teaching, and quality-improvement activities.Maintain professional standards, patient safety, confidentiality, and ethical medical practice.QualificationsDM in Gastroenterology from a recognized institution.Valid medical registration and license to practice.Relevant experience in gastroenterology and endoscopic procedures preferred.Strong clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary hospital environment.
