Dock MasterJob in briefWe are seeking an experienced Dock Master to plan and control safe docking, undocking, berthing and vessel-movement operations, protecting personnel, vessels, docks and company assets.Key Responsibilities: Review vessel particulars, docking plans, stability information and operational constraints.Plan dock preparation, blocks, services, lines, tugs, pumps and manpower.Conduct readiness reviews and confirm permits, communications and emergency controls.Direct docking, undocking, shifting and berthing operations within authority.Monitor vessel position, clearances, drafts, loads and dock conditions throughout movement.Stop operations where conditions differ materially from the approved plan.Coordinate clients, pilots, tug operators, HSE, production and emergency resources.Maintain movement logs, checklists, incident records and lessons learned.Qualifications / Experience / Desired Skills :Marine deck-officer qualification, naval architecture degree or recognized equivalent experience.Minimum 10 years of relevant marine or drydock experience, including docking responsibility.Must have the experience of handling floating dock of 120 meter with 7000 ton ship lifting capacity.Strong knowledge of vessel movements, dock systems, stability and emergency response.Demonstrated leadership of complex, high-risk marine operations.Comply with all applicable Company HSE and IMS policies, procedures and legal requirements; promptly report hazards, incidents and unsafe conditions; and exercise stop-work authority where there is an immediate risk.• Docking operations • Vessel stability awareness• Dock-plan interpretation • Marine communication• Emergency leadership • Risk control
