When a patient or family member contacts us, you will understand their requirement, collect relevant medical information and help arrange the appropriate doctor consultation or home healthcare service. After the consultation, you will review the treating doctor's advice, coordinate the prescribed next steps and ensure that important follow-ups are completed. This is not a conventional telecalling or sales role. It is a clinically informed coordination role requiring medical understanding, empathy, attention to detail and strong ownership. What you will do • Speak with patients and family members over phone and WhatsApp from the moment an enquiry is received. • Understand the patient's concern using structured clinical questions and approved protocols. • Recognise potentially urgent situations and escalate them promptly to the clinical team. • Schedule the appropriate doctor consultation, specialist visit, diagnostic test, nursing visit, vaccination or other home healthcare service. • Coordinate appointment timings and information between patients, doctors and field teams. • Ensure the treating doctor has the relevant patient history before the consultation. • Review prescriptions and consultation notes after each visit and explain the advised next steps in simple language. • Coordinate prescribed investigations, nursing requirements and follow-up consultations. • Confirm whether medicines were started, tests were completed and follow-up appointments were booked. • Check on patient progress, identify concerns requiring medical escalation and maintain accurate records. • Own every open patient task until it is completed or appropriately escalated. What the role looks like in practice If a patient contacts us with persistent fever, you may collect the relevant history, arrange a doctor consultation, coordinate prescribed tests, confirm that the treatment plan has been initiated, check whether symptoms are improving and escalate warning signs to the supervising doctor. Who can apply • MBBS, BAMS, BHMS, BNYS or BUMS graduates. • Candidates with valid professional registration, wherever applicable. • Fresh graduates and doctors with up to five years of experience. • Experience in a hospital, clinic, telemedicine, emergency desk, patient coordination or home healthcare is preferred. You may be a strong fit if you • Understand common medical conditions, prescriptions, consultation notes and investigation reports. • Communicate clearly and empathetically in Hindi and English. • Can ask structured questions without independently diagnosing or changing treatment. • Are comfortable speaking with patients and families throughout the day. • Are organised, careful with documentation and persistent with follow-ups. • Know when to follow an approved protocol and when to escalate to a senior doctor. • Want to build a career in healthcare delivery, clinical operations, home healthcare or digital health. Important role clarification You will help patients access and coordinate appropriate care, but you will not independently diagnose patients, alter prescriptions or recommend treatment outside approved clinical protocols. Urgent symptoms, clinical uncertainty and treatment-related concerns must be escalated to the treating or supervising doctor. Why join Dr. Morepen Home • Use your medical education to improve real patient experiences and outcomes. • Take ownership of care beyond a single doctor consultation. • Gain experience across consultations, diagnostics, nursing and home healthcare. • Build a career at the intersection of medicine, technology and healthcare operations.
