Role DescriptionWe are seeking a compassionate, professional, and patient-focused Doctor to provide high-quality medical care and support positive health outcomes. The role involves assessing patients, identifying health concerns, developing appropriate treatment plans, and providing ongoing medical advice and care in accordance with professional standards.Key responsibilities include conducting patient consultations and clinical assessments, reviewing medical histories, performing appropriate examinations, requesting and interpreting diagnostic tests, and developing evidence-based treatment plans. The Doctor will provide clear explanations regarding diagnoses, treatment options, medications, preventative care, and follow-up requirements.The role will maintain accurate and confidential clinical records, monitor patient progress, coordinate care with other healthcare professionals, and make appropriate referrals when required. The Doctor will also support health education, preventative care, patient safety, and continuous improvement of clinical practices.The successful candidate will demonstrate sound clinical judgement, professional integrity, effective communication, and a strong commitment to patient-centred care. The role requires compliance with applicable clinical, ethical, privacy, and healthcare standards.QualificationsMedical degree or recognised qualification in Medicine from an accredited institution.Current registration or eligibility for registration with the relevant medical regulatory authority.Strong knowledge of clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and preventative healthcare principles.Ability to conduct comprehensive patient consultations and clinical examinations.Strong clinical reasoning, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.Ability to interpret relevant laboratory, imaging, and other diagnostic results.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain medical information clearly and sensitively.Strong commitment to patient confidentiality, informed consent, professional ethics, and patient safety.Ability to work collaboratively with nurses, allied health professionals, specialists, and other healthcare stakeholders.Strong documentation and clinical record-keeping skills.Commitment to evidence-based practice, continuing professional development, and quality improvement.Ability to manage priorities effectively while maintaining a high standard of patient care.Compassionate, respectful, culturally sensitive, and patient-centred approach.
