We're doing it in Dubai with a team that's serious about the work.You'll run the EDMS end-to-end: set up the taxonomy, metadata, permissions and controlled-template library. Operate the document lifecycle (ID, revision, approval, distribution, retention) so every artefact is tracked. Maintain the Evidence Register linking milestones to their supporting proof. Run quarterly compliance audits. Control regulator correspondence. Keep records in order per ISO 15489 and certification standards.The core principle is simple: if it's not a controlled document in the EDMS, it doesn't exist for decisions or compliance. Your work directly impacts whether this thing gets certified and flies. That matters.What you need:Five to eight years' document and records control in aerospace, aviation or regulated manufacturing. You know ISO 15489, AS9100D and how to run a document control policy. You've handled ORCON and classified records. Basic PMO fluency (milestones, gates, evidence-gating). Hands-on EDMS platform experience (Aconex, Documentum, OpenText, M-Files, SharePoint). You can train workstreams and you're comfortable saying "no, that document isn't controlled, we can't use it."Certification records experience or regulator correspondence control is a strong advantage. Power BI and workflow automation helpful but not essential.The structure:You report to the PMO Manager (solid line) and Quality/Governance (dotted line). Fixed quarterly milestones: Month one, EDMS and templates live. Month two, the document lifecycle operating end-to-end. Month three, compliance audits passing and zero uncontrolled documents in use. By month six, 95%+ evidence completeness for upcoming milestones. By month twelve, a scaled function ready for external audit and diligence.Full-time on-site. Occasional travel for audits as required. Start date: to be agreed.You'll be handling sensitive programme and regulator records—confidentiality is non-negotiable.
