High Point has programs located throughout Southeastern Massachusetts offering a full continuum of care for substance use and mental health treatment, including inpatient, outpatient, residential, and community-based services. Programs and services also assist survivors of abuse, violence, and families experiencing homelessness. High Point believes that everyone has inherent goodness, worth, and dignity. Our goal is to help individuals and families achieve personal change and improve their quality of life.Domestic Violence Hospital Coordinator RequirementsExperience working with victims and community outreach. Strong organizational, written and oral skills. General knowledge and experience in the fields of trauma, criminal justice, or other community-based victim or human services. Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal). General knowledge of community resources. Domestic Violence Hospital Coordinator Duties And ResponsibilitiesProvide Advocacy and case management;Attend monthly supervision meetings;Complete paperwork in a timely manner;Attend appropriate and recommended training if desired; Coordinate volunteer training specific to the hospital-based program;Create schedule for hospital coverage;Coordinate training with hospital staff;Supervise volunteers for the hospital-based program;Complete high risk and intake assessments;Provide individual and group counseling;Assist in the coordination of and participate in outreach and public awareness activities and events.
