Senior .NET Developer – Enterprise Workflow & Integration Platform📍 Abu DhabiWe’re looking for an experienced .NET Developer to join an established engineering team working on a business-critical enterprise workflow and project reporting platform. You’ll be joining an existing team with an established codebase, delivery process and release pipeline. Rather than owning the entire programme, you’ll take ownership of specific modules, integrations and technical workstreams, working alongside colleagues who have strong knowledge of the existing platform.You’ll work across a range of enterprise functionality, including:Building and enhancing .NET / C# and ASP.NET Web API services.Developing REST APIs for data extraction, including versioned contracts, authentication and incremental/full data exports.Designing and building cost management and project reporting functionality, covering budgets, manpower, CAPEX and OPEX.Developing SAP integrations to support real-time financial and budget tracking.Extending data models to support opportunity, project and gate-based processes.Building workflow and approval processes, including configurable approval chains, task assignment and governance routes.Developing decision, status and submission versioning functionality.Implementing configurable fields, validation rules, access controls and audit logging.Supporting executive dashboards and reporting across project and portfolio data.Integrating with Microsoft 365, Outlook and directory/identity services.Contributing to responsive and accessible front-end functionality where required.You'll need strong production experience with:C# / .NETASP.NET Web APISQL ServerREST API design and system-to-system integrationsEnterprise workflow applications and configurable business rulesRole-based access control, approvals and audit trailsData modelling, particularly around costs, budgets and project hierarchiesResponsive and accessible front-end developmentWorking effectively within an existing codebase and established engineering teamNice to HaveSAP integration, particularly financial/budget dataMicrosoft BI stack – SSRS / Power BIMicrosoft 365 / Entra IDExperience exposing data from an existing platform into a replacement systemExperience with stage-gate, innovation or R&D portfolio managementCI/CD and automated testing experienceOpenAPI and PostmanYou'll work within an established engineering process, contributing to:Existing CI/CD and release pipelinesAutomated testing and test evidenceOpenAPI specifications and Postman collectionsData model and integration documentationUser/admin guidance and technical handoverThis is a great opportunity for a senior .NET engineer who enjoys working on complex enterprise applications, integrations and workflow-driven platforms, while having genuine ownership of specific technical modules within an established team.
