You will develop and maintain backend applications, REST APIs, and database integrations across multiple interconnected projects.The ideal candidate has strong practical experience with C#, ASP.NET Core, SQL Server, and API development. Experience with PostgreSQL is highly preferred.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, maintain, and enhance applications using ASP.NET and .NET technologies.Develop and maintain REST APIs and backend services.Work across multiple interconnected projects within the same application ecosystem.Write clean, readable, testable, and maintainable C# code.Work with Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL databases.Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and database operations.Understand how different modules and projects interact with shared databases.Investigate and resolve application, API, and database-related issues.Fix bugs reported by QA teams or users.Implement new features based on business requirements.Review and understand existing code and business logic before making changes.Improve the performance of APIs, database queries, and application code.Collaborate with developers, QA specialists, and business teams.Participate in code reviews and follow established development best practices.Required Skills2–3 years of professional ASP.NET/.NET development experience.Strong knowledge of C# and object-oriented programming.Experience with ASP.NET Core and/or ASP.NET MVC.Practical experience developing REST APIs and backend services.Strong understanding of SQL and relational databases.Hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server.Experience with Entity Framework, Entity Framework Core, or a similar ORM.Good understanding of LINQ.Familiarity with Git and standard version-control practices.Ability to troubleshoot application code, APIs, and databases.Understanding of HTTP, JSON, authentication, authorization, and API status codes.Preferred SkillsPractical experience with PostgreSQL.Experience working with multiple interconnected applications or services.Knowledge of API and SQL performance optimization.Experience maintaining and improving an existing production codebase.
