قدّم وتابع مع أبلاي إيدجJOB TO BE BASED IN SAUDI ARABIAPrimary Function : AnalystSecondary Function : Business DevelopmentStrategy/PlanningOverviewWe are seeking a Downstream Pricing Data Analyst to join our Global Optimizer Department.The Global Optimizer Department is responsible for optimizing the integrated value chain of Saudi Aramco's Downstream operations to achieve maximum efficiency, profitability, and value creation Through the application of advanced technologies, data analytics, and collaborative partnerships, we strive to enhance operational performance, mitigate risks, and identify opportunities for incremental gains across all aspects of the value chain.Your primary role is to develop and enhance price forecast visualization tools, compute and issue transfer prices and coordinate with stakeholders to validate price implementation.Further, you will be responsible to review and enhance price proposals with Affiliated companies and ensure market reflective pricing practices across all refineries for products.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, maintain and continuously improve fit-for–purpose price forecast visualization tools.Consult with Pricing Insights and Market Analysis team and Asset Economists to gather information on global events, local refinery operations affecting oil & products market and market trends.Gather forward views of all crude and products, market premium or discount values, costs of freight and other elements contributing to Transfer Prices.Compute transfer prices daily for short and medium planning, according to the planning cycle.Coordinate with Asset Economists and Market Insights teams for review and validation of prices to be issued.Issue price forecast weekly to Asset Economists to ensure timely identification of opportunities, estimate uplift margins and serve as a basis for negotiations among stakeholders.Issue monthly actual transfer prices, to allow for timely review.Perform periodic lookback of TP forecasting quality and identify trends.Perform random checks and assist other groups to implement prices on Standard and Non-Standard pricing.Study global events and market updates affecting the energy and oil & gas industry.Gather information and develop own short and medium-term price forecasts based on market understandings for specific product and market situations.Interface closely with product specialists, refinery economists and traders for input to assess market premium and discounts in various enclaves.Share findings with Data Analytics and Reporting team to perform quality control to ensure market relevancy of transfer prices, trigger review of contracts and advise JV business teams during negotiations for affiliate refineries.Continuously improve market analysis and forward views development.Review and provide necessary feedback to other stakeholders in relation to newly proposed transfer price contract agreements and/or amendments to existing agreements.Ensure fair pricing practices across all refineries for products.Understand capabilities of logistics and operations to develop an informed opinion to push forward for proposed changes to be reviewed in the internal pricing committees.Build and maintain working relationship with industry Market Reporting agencies.Minimum requirementsBachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Commerce, Marketing, Engineering, Economics Business Administration or closely related specialty from a recognized and approved program. Post-graduate education or equivalent experience in MBA/ Statistics/Economics is preferred, but not mandatory.5 to 10 years’ experience in oil downstream business, including at experience in B2B products pricing related business and market research.You must have adequate understanding of downstream business and supply chain.Experience in model development and utilization of excel functions.Have knowledge of data warehousing and mining.You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and work effectively in cross functional teams.You must have deep understanding of oil market dynamics as well as adequate knowledge of refining business.You will have experience with assignments requiring analytical experience with minimal supervision.REGRET ONLY SHORTLISTED CANDIDATES WILL BE CONTACTED
