DP Coordinator and DP English Teacher - Baghdad

Location: Baghdad, IraqContract: Up to 2 yearsSalary: Up to $4,000 per month, Experience dependent.Role: IB DP Coordinator + IB DP English Teacher. MZ Talent Group is recruiting a joint role for an experienced IB Diploma Programme Coordinator and an ID DP English Teacher for a IB School in Baghdad.Key Responsibilities. Lead the implementation and ongoing development of the IB Diploma Programme.. Teach IB Diploma Programme English alongside the DP Coordinator responsibilities.. Plan and deliver high-quality IB DP English lessons in line with IB curriculum and assessment requirements.. Ensure the school complies with IB standards, policies, assessment procedures and programme requirements.. Coordinate student subject selection, IB registration, examinations, internal assessments and programme deadlines.. Support DP teachers with curriculum planning, assessment practices and IB documentation.. Monitor student performance and coordinate appropriate academic interventions.. Communicate effectively with students, parents, teachers and school leadership.. Maintain accurate programme records and ensure all IB documentation is complete and up to date.. Support the professional development of DP teachers.. Lead the school through the full Diploma Programme academic and examination cycle.Requirements. A minimum of five years’ experience teaching within the IB Diploma Programme, including IB DP English.. Experience coordinating at least three graduating IB Diploma Programme cohorts, with preference given to candidates who have coordinated up to five or more cohorts.. Previous experience as an IB DP Coordinator or in a senior IB leadership role.. Strong knowledge of IB standards, assessment procedures, examinations and programme requirements.. A recognised university degree and teaching qualification.. Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills.. Excellent written and spoken English.Perks.
