Jabal Al Sheikh Group sources tiles and slabs directly from quarries worldwide to ensure high quality and competitive pricing.Role Description The Draft person will be responsible for preparing detailed technical drawings and shop drawings for marble and granite projects, using CAD and related drafting software. This full-time, on-site role in Ajman Emirate, United Arab Emirates involves interpreting architectural and structural plans, converting them into precise stone cutting layouts, and coordinating with production and installation teams. The position includes updating drawings based on site measurements or design changes, maintaining organized drawing files, and ensuring that all plans follow project specifications and company standards. The Draft person will also collaborate with sales and project managers to clarify requirements, provide technical input, and support accurate project costing and planning.Qualifications Strong proficiency in CAD drafting software (such as AutoCAD) and ability to produce clear technical and shop drawings.Experience reading and interpreting architectural, structural, and interior design plans, preferably in the stone or construction industry.Knowledge of marble, granite, and other natural stone materials, including dimensions, cutting details, and installation requirements.Attention to detail, accuracy in measurements, and strong organizational skills for managing multiple projects and drawing revisions.Effective communication skills for coordinating with engineers, project managers, production teams, and site staff.Relevant technical diploma or degree in drafting, engineering, architecture, or a related field.Previous experience in a drafting role within construction, fit-out, or stone fabrication is highly beneficial.Ability to work on-site full time in Ajman Emirate, United Arab Emirates, and adapt to project deadlines and priorities.
