Drainage Operations Advisor

🚨 HIRING: DRAINAGE OPERATIONS ADVISOR – QATARWe are looking for a highly experienced Drainage Operations Advisor to join a major DNOMD (Drainage Network Operations, Maintenance & Development) project in Qatar.This is a long-term opportunity for a senior professional with extensive experience in the wastewater, drainage operations and maintenance sector.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide expert technical, strategic and financial advice on DNO&M operations in Qatar
• Support the development and implementation of DNOMD vision, mission, values and strategic direction
• Advise senior management on operational, maintenance, technical and business matters
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, governance requirements and industry standards
• Support effective implementation of Enterprise Drainage Asset Management System (EDAMS), Enterprise Asset Management System (EAMS) and other relevant systems and processes
• Advise and manage PMC consultants where required, ensuring operational risks are controlled and contractual benefits are achieved
• Evaluate policies, programmes and operational practices and recommend improvements
• Drive alignment, operational efficiency and business transformation across relevant sections
• Provide strategic oversight of operations and maintenance delivery, including water treatment and wastewater treatment functions
• Ensure the highest standards of professional conduct, ethics, integrity, safety and qualityKEY REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher qualification in Engineering or a relevant discipline
• Engineering qualification obtained from North America, Western Europe or Australia
• Minimum 30 years of total professional experience
• Minimum 10 years of experience in the Wastewater Industry
• Minimum 5 years of experience within an Operations & Maintenance organization
• Extensive knowledge and experience in the Wastewater Industry
• Strong knowledge of Operations & Maintenance, Project Management, Contract Management and/or Financial Management
• Knowledge of Health & Safety, Quality Assurance and Quality Control procedures
• Experience working within a multidisciplinary organization, preferably in the Middle East
• Experience in senior advisory, operational or strategic roles within drainage/wastewater infrastructureDESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
• Accreditation from the Institute of Asset Management (IAM) or a similar professional body
• Chartered Membership in a relevant professional discipline, such as Engineering
