Company Description BAM ARTS INC is a Melbourne-based not-for-profit organization that delivers creative arts programs for people with disabilities. The organization focuses on providing inclusive, accessible, and supportive arts experiences that foster confidence, social connection, and self-expression.Role Description This is a contract, on-site role based in Frankston, VIC. Wednesdays 9 till 3 for Term 4, 2026 with scope for ongoing employment. You’ll be stepping into the role of Lead Facilitator of our WILD drama group.Our WILD theatre ensemble is an established group of 12 artists with disability who have taken works to Melbourne and Adelaide Fringe Festival. The Drama Lead Facilitator will collaborate with and be supported by our Creative Director and the existing team. Qualifications Strong skills in drama facilitation, theatre-making, or performing arts, with experience leading groups or workshops.Ability to design and adapt drama activities for diverse abilities, including people with disabilities.Great communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to working with participants, families, and colleagues.Experience and qualifications in community arts, disability support, education preferred.Ability to manage group dynamics, maintain a safe and respectful environment, and respond calmly to changing needs.Strong organizational skills, including session planning, time management, and basic documentation and reporting.Current Working With Children Check and any required local clearances; first aid training is an advantage.
