Team members join a growing business that values craftsmanship, reliable service, and safe project delivery.Role Description The Driver cum Helper role is a full-time, on-site position based in Abu Dhabi. This role involves safely driving company vehicles to transport materials, tools, and team members between the workshop, suppliers, and project sites, following local traffic regulations and company safety standards. The Driver cum Helper assists with loading and unloading aluminum profiles, glass panels, and other construction materials, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage and injuries. Day-to-day tasks include supporting technicians and installers at sites by moving materials, organizing tools, and helping with basic preparation or cleaning of work areas. The role also involves performing routine vehicle checks, reporting maintenance needs, keeping delivery logs, and coordinating schedules with supervisors to meet project deadlines.Qualifications Valid light or medium vehicle driving license in the UAE (or eligibility to obtain one) and strong knowledge of Abu Dhabi routes and traffic rules.Experience in driving commercial vehicles and transporting construction or fabrication materials safely.Ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, and positioning glass, aluminum, and other building materials with care.Basic understanding of safety procedures for working around glass, aluminum, and construction sites, including use of personal protective equipment.Reliability in following instructions, maintaining schedules, and supporting site teams with loading, unloading, and material organization.Good communication skills and the ability to work respectfully with diverse colleagues, site supervisors, and clients.Attention to detail for checking delivery documents, verifying materials, and keeping simple records of trips and deliveries.Previous experience in construction, glass and aluminum works, or interior fit-out environments is an advantage.Willingness to work flexible hours when required to meet project timelines and site requirements.High level of personal integrity, punctuality, and commitment to safe, responsible vehicle operation.
