قدّم وتابع مع أبلاي إيدجJob Title : Driver Remedial TrainerLocation : Dubai, UAERole PurposeThe Remedial Trainer will support the rehabilitation and performance improvement of drivers through structured coaching, counselling, training, and practical assessments. The role is responsible for identifying the root causes of poor performance, improving driver confidence, competence, and professionalism, and preparing drivers to safely return to operations. Success in the role will be measured by sustained improvements in driver income, customer service, driving performance, safety, and professional behaviour.Key ResponsibilitiesA. Driver Assessment & CoachingConduct listening sessions with drivers and Operations to identify the root causes of performance issues.Assess driver capability, behaviour, attitude, and readiness to participate in remedial training.Provide one-to-one coaching and counselling to address performance, behavioural, and confidence-related concerns.Build driver confidence and motivation to successfully return to work.B. Training & DevelopmentDeliver remedial training programmes covering safe driving, defensive driving, traffic regulations, customer service, and professional driver behaviour.Deliver targeted coaching to improve driver earning potential through better operational practices, customer engagement, and trip conversion.Coach drivers on customer service excellence to improve passenger satisfaction and service quality.Conduct practical driving assessments to evaluate driver competence and safe driving practices.Ensure drivers demonstrate the required knowledge, confidence, skills, and behaviours before being recommended to return to operations.Provide refresher or additional coaching where required to achieve the expected performance standards.C. Operational PartnershipWork closely with Operations throughout the remedial training journey.Partner with Operations to monitor post-training improvements in driver income, customer service, driving behaviour, and safety performance.Conduct follow-up coaching and retraining where required to reinforce learning and address recurring issues.Provide regular updates on driver progress, risks, and training outcomes.Support continuous improvement of remedial training programmes based on operational feedback, performance data, and business needs.D. Performance & ComplianceMaintain accurate assessment records, training documentation, and driver progress reports.Analyse driver performance data to identify trends and recommend targeted interventions.Recommend drivers for return to operations upon successful completion of remedial training.Recommend offboarding for drivers who:Do not achieve the required competency standards.Repeatedly fail or refuse to attend remedial training.Indicate they do not wish to continue employment.Ensure all remedial training activities are delivered in accordance with company policies, operational procedures, and safety standards.Qualifications & ExperienceEducationDiploma or Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline preferred.Train the Trainer Certification is an advantage.Experience3–5 years of experience in driver training, coaching, operational training, or performance improvement.Experience within the taxi, mobility, transport, logistics, or automotive industry is preferred.Experience conducting driver assessments, practical driving evaluations, and behavioural coaching is an advantage.Knowledge & SkillsStrong knowledge of road safety, defensive driving techniques, traffic regulations, and professional driving standards.Good understanding of taxi operations, driver productivity, and factors influencing driver income.Sound knowledge of customer service principles and passenger experience.Strong coaching, counselling, mentoring, and interpersonal skills.Ability to positively influence driver behaviour and build confidence through coaching.Excellent observation, assessment, and decision-making skills.Strong report writing and documentation skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.Professional, patient, empathetic, and solution-oriented approach.Languages preferred: English, Hindi, Urdu, and Arabic.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Percentage of drivers successfully rehabilitated and returned to operations.Improvement in post-training driver income, safe driving and behaviourReduction in repeat accidents, traffic violations, and repeat remedial training cases.Timeliness and accuracy of assessment reports and training documentation.Effectiveness of coaching interventions based on operational performance.Appropriate recommendations for return to work, further intervention, or offboarding.
