Driving Instructor

Position Purpose:Responsible for interviewing drivers and evaluations followed by road testing. Training new and existing drivers in safe and efficient operation of buses. This role plays a vital part in ensuring the drivers meet safety standards, comply with regulations, and develop the skills necessary for successful performance.Key Accountabilities:Conduct comprehensive training sessions for new drivers on vehicle operation, safety protocols, and company policies.Assist with compliance requirements relating to driver qualifications, licenses, and endorsementsProvide ongoing coaching and skill development for existing drivers to enhance their driving techniques and safety awareness.Evaluate driver performance through practical assessments and provide constructive feedback.Ensure all drivers adhere to traffic law, and company safety regulations during training and daily operations.Maintain detailed records of training activities, driver progress, and compliance documentation.Collaborate with management to develop training programs tailored to operational needs.Conduct traffic accident investigations.Train the drivers in vehicle inspection and failure troubleshooting.Conduct advanced driving skills training.Assist with HSE initiatives, communications, and continuous improvement activitiesStay updated on regulations related to vehicle operation.
