Docking Superintendent / Marine Engineer
Location: Dubai, UAEANVA Marine is looking for a hands-on Marine Engineer with solid ship repair and drydocking experience.We need someone who can inspect a vessel, understand its requirements, prepare a clear repair scope and take ownership of the job through to completion.Your responsibilities will include:Conducting vessel inspections and identifying repair and maintenance requirements.Preparing docking specifications, repair scopes and supporting technical reports.Reviewing shipyard quotations and coordinating spares, materials and contractors.Attending drydockings and afloat repairs, monitoring quality, progress and costs.Liaising with vessel crews, shipyards, class, flag and clients as required.Following up inspections, testing, outstanding work and final close-out.What we’re looking for:A Marine Engineering qualification; a Certificate of Competency is an advantage.Proven practical experience in ship repair and drydocking.Sound knowledge of marine machinery, hull repairs, piping and survey requirements.The ability to work independently, solve problems and follow tasks through to completion.Clear communication and good technical report-writing skills.Willingness to travel and attend vessels and shipyards as required.Regional shipyard experience and a UAE driving licence are advantages.To apply: Email your CV to info@anva-group.com with the subject “Docking Superintendent – Application”.
