About the role:We are looking for a Design and Analysis of Algorithms (DAA) Instructor who can teach and mentor learners in algorithmic problem-solving, data structures, algorithm design, and complexity analysis. The instructor will be responsible for delivering concept-driven and problem-solving-oriented sessions that help learners develop strong analytical and coding skills.Key Responsibilities:Deliver engaging sessions on Design and Analysis of Algorithms for undergraduate and early-career learners.Teach algorithm design paradigms including:Divide and ConquerGreedy AlgorithmsDynamic ProgrammingBacktrackingBranch and BoundRecursion and IterationExplain time and space complexity, asymptotic analysis, Big-O, Big-Theta and Big-Omega.Cover fundamental data structures and their application in algorithm design.Teach graph and tree algorithms, including traversal, shortest path, minimum spanning tree and related concepts.Explain sorting, searching, hashing and optimization techniques.Develop coding problems, assignments, assessments and practice exercises.Conduct live coding and walkthroughs of algorithmic problems.Evaluate learner submissions and provide constructive feedback.Identify common learner gaps and adapt teaching approaches accordingly.Mentor learners in competitive programming and technical interview problem-solving where required.Contribute to curriculum development and improvement of learning content.Required Skills:Strong understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms.Strong knowledge of algorithm design and complexity analysis.Proficiency in at least one programming language such as C++, Java or Python.Ability to explain complex algorithmic concepts in a simple and structured manner.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Ability to create and solve coding problems of varying difficulty levels.Good communication and classroom management skills.Prefered Qualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.Prior teaching, training, mentoring, or academic experience in DAA/DSA.Experience preparing learners for technical interviews, competitive programming, or coding assessments.Familiarity with online teaching platforms and coding environments is an advantage.
