The successful ETRM Application & IT Support Analyst will be responsible for providing functional and technical support for ETRM applications, managing static data, maintaining business-critical IT applications, developing or maintaining business solutions using Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, and creating insightful Power BI dashboards to support business decision-making.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide day-to-day support for ETRM applications, ensuring high availability and smooth business operations.Manage and maintain static/master data within the ETRM system, including counterparties, products, pricing curves, locations, and portfolios.Troubleshoot and resolve ETRM application issues reported by Trading, Operations, Risk, Finance, and Back Office users.Monitor application performance and proactively identify system issues and process improvements.Coordinate with vendors, business users, and IT teams for incident resolution, enhancements, and system upgrades.Develop and maintain business applications and automation solutions using Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate.Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports for business users and management.Create data visualizations and KPIs to support trading, risk, operations, and finance functions.Perform database queries, data validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting activities.Work closely with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for process automation, reporting enhancements, and operational efficiencies.Required Skills & ExperienceOverall, 5-6 years of professional experience in Information Technology, with a strong background in application support and business systems gained working for a commodity trading house or consultancy working on-site at commodity trading housesExperience working in a major commodity trading hub (London, Singapore, Geneva, Zurich, Houston or Dubai most likely), NOT in a support office.
