Team members contribute to creating efficient, user-friendly services that improve comfort and convenience throughout the travel journey.Role Description: We are hiring 2 Duty Managers. The Duty Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Riyadh, responsible for overseeing daily airport service operations and ensuring high-quality traveler experiences. This role includes supervising front-line staff, monitoring service delivery at key touchpoints, and resolving operational issues in real time. The Duty Manager coordinates with internal teams, airline partners, and airport stakeholders to maintain smooth passenger flows, manage schedules, and handle escalations. Key responsibilities include monitoring performance metrics, implementing service standards, managing incident reports, and ensuring compliance with safety and security procedures. The Duty Manager also supports continuous improvement by gathering feedback, recommending process enhancements, and training team members.Key responsibilities: Approve the daily operating plan and allocate personnel, vehicles and equipment against confirmed bookings, flight schedules and operating volumeMonitor service performance against agreed service levels and acceptance cut-off times, and address any shortfall in resources or capabilityOversee the readiness of sites, vehicles, systems and equipment throughout the shiftTake decisions in exceptional operational situations, including irregular operations, and manage and escalate incidents in accordance with approved proceduresEnsure compliance with airline procedures, the Security Operations Manual, standard operating procedures and applicable regulatory requirementsAct as the operational point of contact for airlines, airport authorities, security and ground handling providers during the shiftSupervise shift supervisors and confirm that operations are executed in line with the approved planTrack open cases and outstanding issues through to resolution or structured handover to the following shiftReview exceptions and incidents, implement corrective action, and approve the shift report and performance indicatorsQualifications 5-8 years of experience in airport operations, ground handling or a comparable operational environment. Operations and service management skills, including experience overseeing teams and coordinating daily activities in a customer-focused environment.Organizational and problem-solving skills, including capacity to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and make sound decisions under pressure.Leadership and people management skills, with experience in coaching staff, managing shifts, and maintaining high performance and morale.Understanding of airport or travel industry processes, safety and security practices, and basic incident management is highly beneficial.Proficiency in standard office and communication tools; ability to use operational dashboards or management systems is an advantage.Fluency in English and Arabic.Relevant diploma or bachelor’s degree in business, hospitality, aviation management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
