Tusuka Group is looking for Dyeing ManagerJob Description / ResponsibilityJob Context: Lead and control the complete dyeing operation to achieve consistent shade, right-first-time quality, maximum productivity, optimum machine utilization, controlled dye/chemical consumption, minimum reprocessing, and on-time delivery, while ensuring safety, compliance, and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and control daily/monthly dyeing production according to capacity, priority, and delivery requirements.Ensure bulk dyeing follows approved lab dips, recipes, SOPs, and critical process parameters including temperature, pH, time, liquor ratio, dosing, and process sequence.Ensure lab-to-bulk shade consistency and minimize shade variation, re-dyeing, rejection, and fabric damage.Lead RFT/FTR improvement, root-cause analysis, CAPA, and continuous process improvement.Control dye, chemical, water, steam, electricity, manpower, and reprocessing costs against established standards.Monitor machine loading, productivity, downtime, batch efficiency, and production losses.Coordinate with Lab, QA/QC, Planning, Maintenance, Stores, Procurement, Finishing, Washing, and Garment Production to resolve technical and delivery issues.Ensure proper management of dyes and chemicals, including approved chemical standards, storage, dosing, traceability, and consumption control.Analyze recurring defects such as uneven shade, patchy dyeing, crease marks, staining, poor penetration, colour fastness failure, and fabric damage and implement permanent corrective actions.Ensure compliance with customer requirements, chemical/RSL-MRSL standards, environmental requirements, workplace safety, and audit standards.Lead, train, and develop supervisors, technicians, operators, and laboratory personnel.Drive continuous improvement in quality, productivity, energy/water efficiency, process stability, and cost per kg.Prepare and review departmental performance reports and take timely corrective action against KPI gaps.Educational RequirementsBachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile EngineeringMaster of Science (MSc) in ChemistryRelevant dyeing/wet-processing experience, including significant managerial responsibility.Strong hands-on experience in woven fabric dyeing, colour matching, recipe development, bulk production, quality control, and process optimization.Experience in export-oriented textile/garment manufacturing is preferred.Skills Required: Quality Management System, Cost control, Chemical Management, Dyeing Production, Team management, Process control, Problem solving and decision making, Production Planning, Color Recipe, Performance ManagementExperience Requirements10 to 12 year(s)The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):Garments,TextileAdditional RequirementsWork with QA/QC teams to reduce internal rejection and customer complaints.Coordinate with Procurement and Stores to ensure timely availability of approved dyes and chemicals.Cooperate with internal and external audits and ensure timely closure of audit findings.Promote a strong safety and environmental culture within the dyeing department.Maintain discipline, teamwork, accountability, and effective communication within the department.Dye and chemical consumption versus standard.Woven fabric dyeing processes.Reactive, disperse, vat, pigment and other relevant dyeing systems, as applicable.Root-cause analysis and CAPA.Job LocationGazipur
