Dynamics 365 F&O Asset Management Functional Consultant

About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Dynamics 365 F&O Asset Management Functional Consultant to join our team for a project starting in January 2027. The successful candidate will take the lead in designing and implementing Asset Management capabilities tailored for a manufacturing business. This role is pivotal in transforming engineering and maintenance operations into an efficient, largely standardized D365 solution covering comprehensive asset management processes.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the design and implementation of Dynamics 365 F&O Asset Management solutions. Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to translate operational models into practical solutions. Develop and configure asset hierarchies, functional locations, and lifecycle management processes. Create and manage preventive and corrective maintenance plans, including job types and checklists. Oversee maintenance request processing, work order development, planning, scheduling, and lifecycle state management. Integrate maintenance activities with D365 Inventory and Procurement for effective spare parts management. Analyze and implement maintenance costing and relevant financial integrations. - Define master data management and migration strategies for asset management functions. Facilitate workshops to drive the adoption of standard D365 functionalities. Must-Have Qualifications Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 F&O Asset Management implementations. In-depth knowledge of manufacturing maintenance and Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) processes.Proven expertise in asset hierarchies, maintenance planning, and resource management. Strong communication skills, with the ability to lead workshops and manage stakeholders effectively. - Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Information Technology, or related field. Open to remote collaborations; candidates must be located in or willing to work from India. Nice-to-HaveCertifications in Dynamics 365 F&O or related Microsoft technologies. Experience in crafting integration solutions with external systems. Prior experience with data migration projects in a manufacturing setup.
