Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management (F&SCM) Functional ConsultantAbout The RoleCurrently hiring a seasoned Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management (F&O) Functional Consultant to join our growing team. This position suits someone with strong D365 F&O module knowledge, solid understanding of business processes, and the capability to drive complex implementations end-to-end — from initial requirements gathering through post-go-live support. You'll partner closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and senior leadership to deliver solutions that create real business impact.What You'll DoElicit, analyze, and document detailed business requirements from stakeholders and leadershipPerform Fit-Gap assessments and produce thorough Functional Design Documents (FDDs)Configure, test, and support D365 F&O Supply Chain Management (SCM) and Finance modules in line with business needsFacilitate workshops, Collaborative Requirements Planning (CRP) sessions, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and end-user trainingPartner with technical teams on integrations, customizations, reports, and data migration workAssist with cutover planning, go-live execution, hypercare, and ongoing post-production supportKeep projects on track by upholding timelines, quality benchmarks, and industry best practicesPrepare functional specs, process flows, and configuration documentation to support knowledge transferRequired Supply Chain ExpertiseProcurement and sourcing processes and setupInventory management and optimizationProduct Information Management (PIM)Advanced Warehouse Management, including:Order-to-cash (sales and marketing) processesInventory costing and closing processesWarehouse configuration and setupRequired Finance ExpertiseGeneral Ledger (GL) setup and administrationAccounts Payable (AP) processes and controlsAccounts Receivable (AR) operationsFixed Assets (FA) management and depreciationCash and bank managementBudgeting and financial reportingMonth-end and year-end close processesFinancial dimensions and account structuresIntercompany accountingTax setup and complianceNice-to-Have SCM SkillsTransportation Management (TMS)Master planning and demand forecastingCore Skills & CompetenciesSolid grasp of D365 F&O business processes and configuration, with hands-on experience implementing and/or supporting Finance and SCM modulesExperience with the Data Management Framework (DMF) — data migration, templates, bulk operationsFamiliarity with Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Power Automate, reporting)Comfort working within Agile/Scrum frameworks, including sprint planningProven ability to manage stakeholder relationships independently, including with senior leadershipStrong documentation skills for functional specs and process materialsClear communicator, able to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiencesPreferred QualificationsMicrosoft Dynamics 365 Finance and/or SCM certification(s) (MB-300, MB-310, MB-320, or equivalent)Experience with global, multi-company/multi-entity implementationsPower BI reporting and analytics exposurePower Automate experience for workflow automationFamiliarity with Azure DevOps for tracking and collaborationPresales experience — solution estimation, RFP responsesIndustry background in manufacturing, distribution, or retailSoft Skills We ValueStrong communicator who adapts style to the audienceSkilled at building and maintaining stakeholder relationshipsAnalytical mindset for breaking down complex problemsProactive, solutions-oriented approachCollaborative team playerWillingness to mentor and share knowledge with junior colleaguesComfortable juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced settingDetail-oriented with a focus on qualityEducationBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
