E-Commerce Application Developer

Team members collaborate on diverse projects across industries, working with modern tools and architectures to solve complex business challenges.Role Description The E-Commerce Application Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining e-commerce applications that support secure, scalable, and user-friendly online experiences. On a day-to-day basis, this role involves writing clean and efficient code, integrating payment gateways and third-party services, managing database interactions, and ensuring responsive front-end behavior. The developer will collaborate with product managers, designers, and QA teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions, troubleshoot issues, and optimize application performance. This is a full-time, on-site role located in the Pune Division, requiring close coordination with cross-functional teams and participation in code reviews, deployment planning, and ongoing support.Qualifications Strong foundation in Software Development and Programming, with experience building and maintaining web-based or e-commerce applications.Hands-on experience working with Databases, including designing schemas, writing queries, and ensuring data integrity and performance.Proficiency in Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and related front-end technologies to create responsive, accessible, and user-centered interfaces.Experience with Integration of APIs, payment gateways, and third-party services into e-commerce platforms.Knowledge of common e-commerce frameworks or platforms, and familiarity with secure coding practices and performance optimization.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site environment, communicate clearly, and manage tasks in a fast-paced, project-driven setting.Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git), testing practices, and basic DevOps or deployment workflows is beneficial.
