E-Commerce Specialist – FMCG & D2CLocation: Remote Role OverviewWe are looking for an agile, operationally sharp E-Commerce Specialist to drive digital sales growth, platform optimization, and online visibility for our health, snacking, and confectionery portfolios. In this role, you will manage day-to-day operations across key e-commerce channels—including pure-play marketplaces, omnichannel grocers, and quick-commerce platforms. You will bridge brand marketing, trade execution, and supply chain logistics to maximize conversion rates, secure premium digital shelf space, and hit aggressive revenue targets in the Saudi market. Key Responsibilities1. Platform Management & Online MerchandisingOwn the day-to-day operations of brand stores and product catalogs across major e-commerce platforms and quick-commerce apps in Saudi Arabia.Ensure flawless product content integrity: optimize product titles, rich descriptions, high-resolution imagery, A+ content, keywords for search engine discovery (SEO), and localized Arabic/English copy.Coordinate online catalog updates, new product introductions (NPD), and digital bundling strategies in alignment with the marketing calendar. 2. Digital Trade Marketing & Campaign ExecutionPlan and execute platform-specific promotional calendars, mega-sale events (e.g., White Friday, Ramadan rushes, National Day), flash sales, and sponsored product ads. Collaborate with internal brand teams to run performance marketing campaigns, driving targeted traffic to product listings and tracking return on ad spend (ROAS).Secure priority banner placements, category sponsorships, and high-visibility digital real estate across retail partner apps. 3. Sales Tracking, Analytics & Demand PlanningTrack daily, weekly, and monthly key performance indicators (KPIs)—including Gross Merchandise Value (GMV), conversion rates, traffic, average order value (AOV), and customer acquisition costs.Partner closely with Supply Chain and Logistics to monitor stock levels, manage demand forecasting, minimize out-of-stock risks, and prevent excess inventory across e-fulfillment centers. Synthesize sales data and platform analytics to generate actionable reports on competitor pricing, promotional effectiveness, and category trends. 4. Cross-Functional Coordination & Customer ExperienceAct as the primary operational link between external platform account managers and internal teams (Sales, Supply Chain, Regulatory, Customer Service). Monitor customer ratings, product reviews, and feedback loops to resolve fulfillment bottlenecks, improve service levels, and protect brand reputation online. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Online Revenue & Growth: E-commerce net sales value, volume velocity, and month-on-month growth rate.Digital Shelf Metrics: Share of Search (SoS), Buy Box win rate, and content compliance score.Operational Efficiency: On-time in-full (OTIF) delivery metrics, low stock-out rates, and forecast accuracy.Advertising ROI: Return on Advertising Spend (ROAS) and promotional cost efficiency. Candidate Profile & QualificationsRequired Experience & EducationEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, E-Commerce, Supply Chain, or a related field. Experience: 2–4 years of hands-on experience managing e-commerce accounts, digital marketplaces, or D2C operations, ideally within FMCG, food distribution, or consumer goods. Market Insight: Familiarity with the Saudi retail ecosystem, quick-commerce infrastructure, and the operational nuances of regional digital grocery platforms. Skills & CompetenciesTechnical Proficiency: Hands-on familiarity with marketplace vendor portals (Amazon Vendor/Seller Central, Noon Partner Portal) and web analytics tools.Analytical Strength: Advanced spreadsheet skills (Excel/Google Sheets) for large-scale data manipulation, inventory tracking, and sales report generation. Bilingual Communication: fluency in Arabic and English (written and spoken) for localized merchant negotiations and digital copywriting. Project Coordination: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple platform timelines and cross-functional deliverables concurrently.
