The team is known for being welcoming, knowledgeable, and committed to improving everyday listening experiences.Role Description This is a full-time remote role for an E-commerce Web Developer (Shopify, WordPress & HTML) at BuyHearingAid. The role involves building, customizing, and maintaining e-commerce websites on Shopify and WordPress, including theme configuration, template creation, and integration of plugins and apps to support online sales. The developer will implement responsive front-end designs, optimize site performance, ensure cross-browser compatibility, and maintain clean, accessible HTML/CSS. Day-to-day tasks include updating product pages, improving user journeys, managing technical SEO elements, troubleshooting website issues, and collaborating with marketing and product teams to support campaigns and promotions. The role also includes monitoring site analytics, implementing A/B tests, and continually enhancing the customer experience on the online storefront.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Front-End Development and Web Design skills, including responsive layout, HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript.Candidates should possess solid Back-End Web Development and Programming skills to manage integrations, APIs, and custom functionalities.Candidates should possess comprehensive Web Development skills, with experience in building and maintaining Shopify and WordPress e-commerce sites.Experience with Shopify theme development, Liquid templates, and WordPress themes and plugins is highly beneficial.Understanding of UX/UI best practices, accessibility standards, and performance optimization for e-commerce websites.Familiarity with technical SEO, Google Analytics or similar tools, and e-commerce conversion optimization is preferred.Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple tasks, and collaborate effectively with non-technical stakeholders.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
