E-Invoicing Technical ConsultantWe’re looking for an E-Invoicing Technical Consultant to join our implementation team and play a key role in helping customers successfully adopt cloud-based e-invoicing solutions.This is a customer-facing technical consulting role where you’ll work at the intersection of ERP, integrations, business processes and e-invoicing compliance. You’ll engage with customers to understand their technical landscape, shape integration solutions and guide them through implementation.If you enjoy solving complex integration challenges and working directly with customers, this could be a great opportunity for you.What You’ll Be DoingCustomer & Technical ConsultingLead technical discovery and scoping sessions with customers to understand their e-invoicing requirements.Understand different business flows including B2B, B2G, B2C, AR and AP.Work with customers across domestic, export, import, intercompany and reverse-charge transactions.Understand requirements around invoices, credit notes, debit notes and e-reporting.Explain e-invoicing and compliance requirements in a way that makes sense to both technical and business stakeholders.ERP & IntegrationAssess customers’ ERP environments and understand how their Order-to-Cash (O2C) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes connect with e-invoicing.Work with customers to define the best ERP-to-cloud integration approach.Discuss and evaluate integration options such as APIs, HTTPS, SFTP and web services.Define data requirements and support mapping across XML, JSON, CSV and EDI formats.Identify data-quality issues, transformation requirements and upstream dependencies.Define end-to-end data flows, including triggers, acknowledgements, validation, error handling, retries and monitoring.Customer DeliveryWork closely with customer IT teams to establish technical prerequisites and integration architecture.Coordinate requirements around security, authentication, certificates, IP allowlisting and encryption.Support DEV, TEST and PROD environment readiness.Act as a technical point of contact for complex customer questions and issues.Work closely with internal technical teams to resolve challenges and keep implementations moving.Review technical deliverables such as mappings, interface specifications and integration designs.What You’ll Bring6+ years of experience in ERP implementation and/or integration delivery.Strong experience with SAP or Oracle ERP environments.Hands-on experience integrating ERP systems with external or third-party platforms.Good understanding of O2C and P2P processes.Practical knowledge of APIs, HTTPS, SFTP, web services and middleware.Experience working with XML, JSON, CSV and EDI.Strong communication skills and confidence working directly with customers.Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business discussions.A proactive, independent approach with the ability to work through ambiguity and drive solutions forward.Nice to HaveExperience in e-invoicing, tax compliance or regulatory reporting.Experience with SAP FI/SD/MM or Oracle Financials/SCM.Background in solution consulting, implementation consulting or technical advisory.Understanding of international tax and compliance requirements.Experience supporting global customers or working across multi-ERP environments.Why This Role Could Be a Great FitThis role offers the opportunity to work on real-world digital transformation projects, helping organisations modernise their invoicing processes while navigating complex ERP and compliance requirements.You’ll have the opportunity to work directly with customers, influence technical solutions and collaborate with teams across ERP, integration and e-invoicing.If you’re an ERP/integration professional who enjoys customer interaction, problem-solving and delivering technology solutions, we’d love to hear from you.
