We value patient, organized professionals who can communicate clearly and create engaging online learning experiences.The RoleWe are seeking a proactive E-Learning Assistant / Online Tutor / Academic Support Assistant to support learners through online lessons, tutoring sessions, digital learning activities, and academic coordination. You will assist learners with course materials, explain concepts clearly, monitor progress, and help maintain an organized and engaging virtual learning environment.This part-time, fully remote opportunity offers flexible working hours and exposure to online education, e-learning platforms, virtual tutoring, and digital academic support.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver or support online tutoring sessions, academic assistance, study sessions, and structured learning activities.Assist learners with understanding course materials, assignments, exercises, and subject-specific concepts.Provide clear explanations, examples, guidance, and constructive feedback based on learner needs.Prepare digital learning materials, presentations, exercises, study guides, quizzes, and supporting resources.Support learners in navigating learning management systems, virtual classrooms, online resources, and digital assignments.Monitor learner participation, attendance, progress, assignment completion, and academic development.Adapt explanations and learning activities to different learning styles, abilities, and levels of understanding.Communicate with learners regarding schedules, assignments, deadlines, learning requirements, and progress.Maintain accurate learner records, session notes, progress updates, and academic documentation.Coordinate with instructors, academic teams, parents, program coordinators, or other relevant stakeholders where required.Assist with online assessments, quizzes, practice exercises, and learning activities.Identify learners who may require additional support and communicate relevant observations to the appropriate team.Contribute ideas for improving digital learning resources, tutoring processes, learner engagement, and online education workflows.RequirementsBachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Education, Business, English, Mathematics, Science, Technology, or a relevant academic field is preferred.Minimum of 3+ years of professional experience in tutoring, teaching assistance, academic support, e-learning, training, or a related function is preferred.Strong subject knowledge in at least one relevant academic or professional area.Previous experience providing online tutoring, virtual instruction, academic assistance, or digital learning support is advantageous.Familiarity with learning management systems, virtual classrooms, video conferencing platforms, digital learning tools, and online collaboration software.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain concepts clearly.Strong patience, organization, time management, and interpersonal skills.Ability to adapt teaching and support approaches to different learner needs and skill levels.Strong digital literacy and confidence working with online education platforms.Reliable, proactive, professional, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.What We OfferFlexible part-time hours with a fully remote working arrangement.Competitive compensation aligned with experience and academic support responsibilities.Exposure to international learners, digital education platforms, online tutoring, and e-learning programs.Opportunities to strengthen tutoring, digital teaching, academic support, and learner engagement skills.Professional development through hands-on involvement in online education and learning initiatives.A collaborative environment focused on learner progress, engaging education, digital accessibility, and continuous improvement.
