E-Plan & PLC Programming Electrical Engineer

Job SummaryRime Group FZE is seeking an Electrical Engineer (proficient with EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical, and PLC programming) with relevant practical experience to join its Engineering and R&D team. The successful candidate will be responsible for programming, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting for commercial and industrial refrigeration systems.This position is suitable for an engineer who can handle routine responsibilities independently while working with senior engineers on more complex projects.Key ResponsibilitiesConfigure and troubleshoot controllers, VFDs, PLCs, and HMIs.Conduct continuity, insulation-resistance, functional, and electrical-safety tests.Ensure completed work complies with approved drawings, technical specifications, and safety requirements.Coordinate with the Mechanical Engineering, Production, Quality, Procurement, and Site teams.Provide technical support during manufacturing, installation, commissioning, and after-sales service.Maintain accurate testing, commissioning, and technical records.Perform electrical wiring, cable termination, testing, and commissioning.Read, program, and understand electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and control schematics.Support the design and modification of electrical panels and control circuits.Select appropriate electrical components, including circuit breakers, contactors, relays, overload protection devices, sensors, and cables.Prepare bills of materials and technical specifications.Support product and process improvements related to safety, reliability, energy efficiency, and ease of maintenance.Qualifications and ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.Practical experience in electrical panel installation, wiring, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and programming.Experience in refrigeration, HVAC, manufacturing, industrial equipment, or control panels is preferred.Good knowledge of electrical drawings, control circuits, and protection systems.Proficient with AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or similar software.Knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, controllers, and VFDs is an advantage.Required Skills and AbilitiesAbility to perform assigned work with limited supervision.Practical and hands-on approach to engineering work.Strong understanding of electrical safety requirements.Good attention to detail and documentation.Ability to coordinate effectively with different departments.Good written and verbal communication skills.Responsible, organised, and able to complete assigned tasks within deadlines.
