JOB DESCRIPTIONNursery Teacher – FS1 & FS2 (Russian Speaking)Location: Dubai, UAECurriculum: British CurriculumSalary: Up to AED 8,000 per month (based on experience)Employment Type: Full-time, immediate joiners preferredReports To: Head of Early Years / Nursery ManagerJob PurposeWe are looking for a passionate and experienced Nursery Teacher to lead FS1 and FS2 classrooms within a British curriculum setting in Motor City, Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging early years lessons, nurturing each child's development, maintaining strong communication with parents, and representing the nursery confidently during tours and open days.Key ResponsibilitiesLesson Planning & Curriculum DeliveryPlan, prepare, and deliver structured, age-appropriate lessons for FS1 & FS2 in line with the British Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.Design engaging, play-based learning activities that support literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional development.Maintain lesson plans, learning journals, and progress records for each child, adapting plans based on observed development.Set up and organise the classroom environment to support independent exploration and hands-on learning.Classroom & Behaviour ManagementMaintain a safe, structured, and nurturing classroom environment with clear routines and positive behaviour management.Support children’s emotional wellbeing, social skills, and independence through daily routines.Supervise and support teaching assistants within the classroom to ensure consistency in delivery.Parent Communication & Relationship ManagementBuild strong, professional relationships with parents through regular verbal and written updates on their child’s progress.Conduct parent-teacher meetings and respond promptly and professionally to parent queries and concerns.Share learning journals, portfolios, and development reports with parents on a regular basis.Handle sensitive conversations regarding a child’s development or behaviour with tact and professionalism.Nursery Tours & Admissions SupportConfidently conduct nursery tours for prospective parents, showcasing the classroom, curriculum, and facilities.Represent the nursery’s values, curriculum approach, and culture positively during open days and enrolment events.Support the admissions team by answering curriculum-related questions from prospective families.General & ComplianceEnsure all health, safety, and safeguarding procedures are followed at all times.Maintain accurate attendance, incident, and daily activity records.Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and continuous professional development.Translate and communicate effectively in both English and Russian to support children, parents, and colleagues as needed.RequirementsCACHE Level 3 in Early Years/Childcare (pursuing or completed).Fluent in English and Russian, both written and verbal.Minimum 2 years of teaching experience, ideally within a British curriculum nursery or early years setting.Prior experience with FS1 & FS2 age groups strongly preferred.Must currently be based in the UAE; immediate joiners preferred.Strong lesson planning, classroom management, and parent communication skills.Confident, well-presented, and comfortable conducting nursery tours for prospective families.Patient, nurturing, and adaptable approach to early years teaching.How to ApplyInterested candidates meeting the above criteria are invited to share their updated CV.WhatsApp / Email: +971 54 565 2159 |sundus@cosurger.com
