Echo Technician

Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for an Echo Technician based in Jiddah. As an Echo Technician, day-to-day responsibilities will include performing and analyzing echocardiograms, supporting non-invasive cardiology procedures, and collaborating with medical professionals to provide accurate diagnoses. The role requires strict adherence to healthcare protocols and an emphasis on patient care and safety.Key Responsibilities Perform echocardiography procedures including transthoracic echocardiograms (2D Echo, Doppler, and Color Flow studies) as requested by physicians.Prepare and position patients appropriately before examinations and explain procedures clearly.Operate echocardiography equipment efficiently to obtain accurate diagnostic images and measurements.Assist cardiologists during stress echocardiography and other specialized cardiac procedures when required.Monitor patients during procedures and report abnormal findings or patient concerns immediately.Ensure proper documentation of examination findings and maintain accurate patient records.Maintain cleanliness, safety, and functionality of ultrasound equipment and examination rooms.Follow infection control policies, patient safety standards, and hospital regulations at all times.Coordinate patient appointments and maintain smooth workflow within the cardiology department.Ensure confidentiality of patient information in compliance with hospital policies.Participate in quality improvement activities, training programs, and continuing medical education.Adhere to the standards and regulations of the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS).QualificationsDiploma or Bachelor’s degree in Cardiac Technology, Echocardiography, Diagnostic Medical Sonography, or related field.Valid classification and registration from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) as an Echo Technician / Cardiac Sonographer.Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in echocardiography services is preferred.📩 To apply, please send your CV to:careers@dsah.saBayan.AlHazmi@dsah.sa
