eCommerce Associate

LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with a small and growing B2B business in the medical device industry who is looking to hire an Ecommerce Associate to oversee online sales operations, digital product listings, customer engagement, and marketing promotions.In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing ecommerce platforms including eBay and an ecommerce website, optimizing online visibility, supporting revenue growth, and ensuring a seamless customer experience from listing to fulfillment.Location: Vernon Hills, IL (in-office M-F)Salary: $60k-$75k commensurate with experienceBenefits: Medical and dental insurance, paid vacation/holidays, 401(k)Key ResponsibilitiesCreate, manage, and optimize product listings for ecommerce websites and eBay to maximize visibility and performanceWrite product titles, descriptions, and specifications, ensuring accuracy and consistencyUpload and manage product images and listings contentMonitor listing performance, implementing improvements based on analytics and sales trendsMaintain inventory quantities and availability across online platformsCoordinate product categories and SEO optimization to improve search rankingsAnalyze competitor pricing, market trends, and product demand to develop effective pricing strategiesReview/adjust pricing to remain competitive while maximizing profitabilityHelp leadership identify high-performing product categories and market opportunitiesRespond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries through eBay, website submissions, and email communicationProvide product information, shipping updates, and issue resolution, ensuring a positive customer experienceSupport sales initiatives by helping identify online leads and customer opportunitiesOversee online order processing from purchase to shipmentCoordinate with warehouse and operations teams to ensure timeline and accurate order fulfillmentMonitor shipping timelines, tracking, and delivery performanceAssist with managing returns, clams, and customer follow-up communicationMaintain and update website product listingsAssist with marketing campaigns, email marketing, social media posts, and promotional initiativesMonitor website traffic and ecommerce analytics to identify opportunities for growthQualificationsExperience with ecommerce platforms i.e. eBay, Shopify or similarStrong organizational skills and attention to detailStrong written/verbal communication skillsAble to manage multiple product lines and prioritiesExperience with inventory management and order processing (preferred)Knowledge of digital marketing, SEO, and online merchandising is a plusProficient in MS Office and basic reporting toolsExperience in medical equipment, healthcare, or surplus asset sales is preferred but not requiredSelf-motivated, eager and able to learn, comfortable in a fast-paced environmentEqual Opportunity Employer/Veterans/DisabledTo read our Candidate Privacy Information Statement, which explains how we will use your information, please navigate to https://www.lhh.com/us/en/candidate-privacyThe Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and/or security clearance requirements, including, as applicable:• The California Fair Chance Act• Los Angeles City Fair Chance Ordinance• Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers• San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance
