Our customers walk out with new items every time they visit any of our stores.Role Purpose: We are looking for an analytical and creative E-commerce Merchandise Manager to lead the planning and execution of merchandising strategies across our digital platforms. This role is critical in driving online sales performance, enhancing the customer shopping experience, and ensuring products are displayed, categorized, and promoted effectively to meet business objectives. The role requires working knowledge of AI-driven merchandising tools and a clear understanding of where AI supports — and where it does not replace — human merchandising judgment.Key Responsibilities: Product Strategy & PlanningDevelop and execute online merchandising strategies to support business goals and seasonal campaigns.Plan product assortment and category placement to maximize conversion and revenue.Collaborate with buying and inventory teams to ensure optimal stock levels for online channels, with direct ownership of inventory turnaround time as a core performance metric.Conduct ongoing discovery to identify emerging trends, new product opportunities, and whitespace in the assortment, using AI-assisted trend and demand-signal tools where available.Drive upsell and cross-sell initiatives across product pages, bundles, and recommendations to increase average order value.Own product taxonomy and SEO structuring to improve discoverability and organic search performance. Site Merchandising & Content ManagementManage homepage, category pages, product display pages (PDPs), and promotional banners to ensure a compelling and intuitive customer experience.Work with design and content teams to ensure accurate and engaging creatives and product contentOversee product aspect management - accuracy of specifications, imagery, and content across the catalog. AI in MerchandisingUnderstand and evaluate AI tools relevant to merchandising: demand forecasting, dynamic pricing, personalization/recommendation engines, and AI-assisted content generation.Apply AI-generated outputs (trend signals, forecasts, transcribed customer feedback/call notes) as inputs to decision-making ; not as a substitute for merchandising judgment.Partner with data/tech teams to identify where AI can reduce manual workload in reporting, tagging, and content production.Stay current on AI developments relevant to e-commerce merchandising and assess applicability to BFL's platform.Performance Monitoring & OptimizationUse analytics and internal tools to monitor KPIs such as conversion rate, AOV, CTR, sell-through rate, basket size, and inventory turn.Report on key metrics regularly and translate insights into merchandising action.Identify gaps in the current merchandising workflow and propose process enhancements, including opportunities for AI-driven automation. Cross-Functional CollaborationPartner with marketing, creative, UX, and engineering teams to ensure consistent brand messaging and optimal site functionality.Work with customer service and feedback teams to understand pain points and opportunities in the customer journey, including insight drawn from AI-transcribed customer service calls and feedback.Promotion & Campaign SupportCoordinate with marketing teams on seasonal promotions, launches, and sales events.Set up product promotions and discounts in the e-commerce platform and ensure proper execution.Qualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Merchandising with a focus on Fashion; strong product and category knowledge relevant to the fashion retail space.Minimum 10 years of experience in e-commerce, with 5–8 years specifically in merchandising or product management.Strong understanding of digital retail metrics and customer behavior.Experience with product analytics tools and BI.Working knowledge of AI-driven merchandising tools (forecasting, personalization, recommendation engines) and comfort adopting new AI-based workflows.Excellent project management and communication skills.Strong eye for detail and aesthetics with a data-driven mindset.Experience with SEO and product taxonomy optimization.If you think you are fit for this job position, then apply right away.
