Through its Proudly Made in Egypt range, AOS also develops customized bags, laptop sleeves, leather boxes, executive gift sets, and branded business accessories, delivering integrated solutions with reliable execution and lasting impact across Egypt.Role Description The Economics Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo, responsible for providing economic analysis and insights that support AOS’s strategic and operational decisions. This role involves developing economic models to assess market trends, pricing strategies, and cost structures for AOS’s branding, events, printing, and manufacturing services. The specialist will analyze data related to customer segments, industry sectors, and macroeconomic conditions in Egypt to inform business planning and investment decisions. Daily tasks include preparing economic reports, forecasting demand, conducting statistical analyses, and evaluating the economic impact of new products, services, and partnerships. The Economics Specialist will collaborate closely with management, sales, and operations teams to translate economic findings into practical recommendations and to support performance measurement and resource allocation.Qualifications Strong foundation in Economics, with the ability to apply economic principles to business, marketing, and operational decisions.Proficiency in Economic Modeling and Statistics to build forecasts, cost-benefit analyses, and data-driven scenarios.Advanced Analytical Skills to interpret quantitative and qualitative data, identify trends, and generate actionable insights.Knowledge of Health Economics or sector-specific economics is a plus, especially for work with healthcare and institutional clients.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Econometrics, Statistics, or a related field.Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, statistical software) and proficiency in creating clear reports and presentations.Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex economic concepts to non-specialist stakeholders.Ability to work on-site in Cairo, manage multiple projects, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
