Economist | London | Up to £50k | HybridI’m working with a UK regulator that is looking for an Economist to join its growing team.This is an excellent opportunity for an economist looking to work on contemporary economic issues within the utilities sector, while also contributing to the development and implementation of policy.What you’ll need:A degree in Economics2+ years' experience working in a consultancy, regulator, or UK government bodyExperience conducting microeconomic analysis and assessing competition and regulatory mattersExperience applying economic and policy frameworks and ensuring regulatory requirements are metPrevious experience developing and implementing policyStrong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build relationships and deliver outcomesThe ability to identify and analyse data to provide evidence-based insights and support decision-makingExcellent communication skills, with the confidence to present to both technical and non-technical audiencesMust have the right to work in the UK without sponsorship or need for sponsorshipWhat you'll get in return:A base salary up to £50kExcellent employer contribution2 days a week in the officeFlexible workingDevelopment opportunitiesThis is a great opportunity for an economist who wants to shape policy and regulatory decisions that have a real impact across the UK.If you have the relevant experience and would like to find out more, please email Georgina Line gline@chisquare-econ.com with a copy of your CV, and we can arrange a time to speak.Please note: sponsorship is not available for this role.
