eDiscovery Consultant - $100k to $135k - Multiple Locations

You’ll be the hands-on Relativity expert on live disputes and investigations matters for a global law firm. You’ll run workspaces, analytics, active learning and generative AI review features across several matters at once. The eDiscovery team supports the firm’s litigation and investigations practice and its clients, so the work is varied and the standard is high.This role suits someone with a couple of years of Relativity administration who wants to work closer to the legal team. The firm treats advanced analytics and GenAI as standard on every matter, not as an occasional pilot.The essentialsHybrid, based in New York, Washington DC, Dallas, Houston, or AustinPermanent, full-timeReports to the firm’s global eDiscovery operations leadershipSome travel and occasional out-of-hours work around deadlinesResponsibilities of an eDiscovery Consultant:Administer Relativity, including user access, security permissions, review workflow setup and search logicApply text analytics, active learning and generative AI features as routine practice on every matterCreate native and TIFF productionsManage day-to-day work across multiple concurrent matters against billable hour targetsHandle data transfers via media devices and SFTP, including data logging, and flag risks earlyDeliver end-user training to lawyers, and work alongside the legal project management and delivery teamsRequirements of an eDiscovery Specialist:Essential:At least 2 years of relevant eDiscovery experienceHands-on Relativity administrationData processing experience in Relativity or NuixWorking knowledge of the full EDRM, including forensic data preservation tools and techniquesClear written and verbal communication, with a strong client service mindsetComfortable reprioritizing across several matters as deadlines moveNice to have:Relativity Certified Administrator (RCA), or willingness to obtain itDegree in Computer Science or LawBenefits and compensation:New York: up to $135,000 baseWashington, DC: up to $120,000 baseTexas (Dallas, Houston, Austin): up to $110,000 baseDiscretionary bonus.401(k) plan.Health, life, accident and disability insurance.Paid leave.ApplyAPT Search is handling this search on the client’s behalf.
